Currently, Herve is driving transformation in the education sector by promoting the adoption of Amazon Web Services in the MEA region. His present focus is on enhancing educational service and delivery through the intelligent application of technology. Prior to this, Herve demonstrated a keen entrepreneurial spirit, co-founding and nurturing several start-ups in the Technology, EdTech and AI sectors over a decade. These ventures have given him a profound understanding of the interaction between education and technology. Herve's earlier roles provide a deeper insight into his commitment to education and technology. As the Group CTO of GEMS Education, a world-leading provider of K-12 education, he made significant contributions to the organisation's success. Before this, Herve had a fruitful tenure at Apple from 2000 to 2012. As the EMEA Education Director and member of the European Leadership Team, he played a pivotal role in managing the sales, marketing, and business development of Apple's $2 billion Education business across Europe, the Middle East, India, and Africa. Before joining Apple, Herve held leadership roles at prominent tech firms, including as Managing Director of the Latin American division of Packard Bell NEC and Sales Director of Zenith Data System for the French DoD account. These positions deepened his understanding of operations, sales, and marketing, which he proficiently applies in his current role. Herve's impressive career is bolstered by an Executive MBA from HEC, one of Europe's top two business schools and ranked within the top 20 worldwide. His comprehensive education and extensive experience establish him as a thought leader in the integration of technology into education.
